Reviews for Casa Bonita Restaurante
Review highlights
Based on 229 reviewsCasa Bonita Restaurante in San Andrés is widely praised for its stylish ambiance and exceptional Italian cuisine, with particular acclaim for dishes like risotto with beef medallions, carpaccio, and tiramisu. Customers consistently highlight the friendly and professional service, as well as the quality and freshness of cocktails. The restaurant is noted for offering good value relative to similar island venues. While vegetarian options are available, vegan diners may find the offerings limited, reflecting a regional trend. Minor feedback includes some practical concerns, such as lighting in restrooms, but these do not overshadow the overall positive dining experience. Casa Bonita is recognized as a top choice for those seeking a memorable meal in a relaxed yet refined setting.
Stylish, chill venue. The service was friendly and professional. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails. I highly recommend the risotto with tenderloin beef medallions.
This was by far our best dining experience in San Andres. The prices are comparable to most other restaurants on the island, so you’re not paying significantly more, but the value you get here is exceptional. The food is delicious, and the service is outstandingly fast. We highly recommend the melon and burrata, and the spaghetti al limone was fantastic as well.
Casa Bonita Restaurant is a VERY nice option for some. The quality of the food is undoubtedly good, and they SEEM to want to be that type of place that can & WANTS to consider ALL possible guests, as they do have a few vegetarian options HOWEVER vegetarian & VEGAN are two VERY DIFFERENT styles of eating. And sadly this region of Colombia has NOT discovered THIS FACT!!! So IF you're vegan...you will have to have spaghetti & make very careful requests for your meal...as your options aren't readily available. Hopefully they will soon allow their menu to offer options for vegans...as vegans are usually tourists who visit this region of the country & are starved by the time they leave the island.
My husband and I ordered the risotto with steak and it was SO delicious. Our cocktails were very good and fresh. Service was also very friendly. The only issue I had was that in the bathroom the light was motion sensored and had a very short timer. I was in the dark within a few seconds unless I was waving my hands and that was super awkward while trying to do my business. I would return, though, would be conscious of the lights in the ladies room.
We loved the food here, bravo to the chef!!!! The carpaccio was epic. The salad bonita was delicious and the risotto Tenderloin was perfect. But it didn’t end there, it ended with the best tiramisu we have ever had in all the places we have been too!
